Mastering the walk and stairs

Well, I think pretty soon I will be chasing Kira more then ever before. She is really trying to walk alot more. I give it about 2 weeks and I think it will be second nature to her.

I took the girls to play morning and they always have fun. Olivia did some water and sand play while Kira played with beads and this cute little toy where the animals spin and they all circle on this platform . I tried to get her to dress up but was not to successful.

Aloha Friday with the neighbor's

The Girls
The GuysThe kids

We went to church at 9 on Sunday. After service was over we gathered our things and spent the afternoon at the beach. Olivia loves the beach. She asks to go about 2 times every day. We had lunch over there and played on the beach for about 2 hours. Kira still has not learned that sand does not taste to good. Diaper changes will be fun

The girls love bath time. They love to splash each other. One thing I can say is that Kira is not afraid of the water.

Did I mention I love living in our new house and most of all enjoy all the new neighbors. The kids all have a great time playing together. Although we usually are out playing til 7:30/8:00 at night but we are having fun and making memories. Last night Kira was chasing the neighbors daughter trying to catch her, she took about 6 steps. Before to long I will be chasing her everywhere. The weekend went by fast as usual. Saturday we hit the Keiki swap meet and found lots of bookk, shorts, and wait til you see this

How could we resist, the price was right. The little girl selling it kept telling Olivia that if wanted to keep riding it you have to buy it. So we did. Kira will have to wait to ride it. That saturday evening we went to a friends deployment party. We had a good time. Olivia played on thier slide.

Sunday I worked at church all morning, but at the 9 service we had the girls in the baby dedication. I will add pictures for that later.

The rest of the week has just flown by. We have been to the playground. The swings were a hit with the girls

This morning while walking lady there was a beautiful rainbow, but it started to fade away when I went to get the camera. It went from one side of the street to the other.

hmm...I wonder what I can get into over there

We had a rough monday, but we are doing better now. Dad had a nice Fathers day. We made these cute little footprint cards with a poem. Olivia has lots of fun doing crafts. She loves to cut and glue. (Everything)

Daddy hugs :)
We had breakfast at the neighbors and all of our friends were there. We all get a kick out of watching the toddlers play together. They are in the its MINE stage. Today is actually the first time I heard Olivia say her name correctly, usually its pronounced we-uh Too Cute

Hickam Beach

O's has been wanting to goto the beach. Everyday she says maybe someday we can go to the beach? So we decided to take her up on her offer. It was a nice morning and we got there around 10:00am. Kira did not have her morning nap yet so it was not much fun for her when we first got there. She loves to put everything in her mouth even sand. While we were playing in the ocean and talking with friends she fell asleep to the moving of the water. Probably a good 15-20 mins. Olivia and dad spent most of the time sifting through the water and digging holes for the water to fill in. We ate lunch while at the grill by the beach. It was nice. We actually felt like we were on vacation.

The airport shares the runway so we got to watch planes take off.

Its hard to believe another week has gone by. Kira is getting close to walking, maybe in about 1-2 more weeks and Olivia is just as busy as ever. We spent the day outside on Saturday and probably got a little to much sun for both the girls, but they had fun. They helped dad wash the car and we went to the neighbors to play on thier waterslide.

Sunday I worked at church all morning and when we got home I wanted to take some pictures, but Olivia kept running away and laughing. She was being silly.

Did I forget to mention how much they love to play with the rocks.

On Tuesday we went out for breakfast and yes, you guessed it IHOP. It wasn't long after we ate and got back into the car the girls fell asleep, which was ok by us. What better time to take a drive. We ended up driving to KoleKole pass, and by the time we got to the end Olivia was up and got a little car sick. We stopped a few minutes so she could get some fresh air and she started to feel better so we drove up to Kaena Point State Park. There were really cool tide pools and we had a great time finding fish and shells

Breakfast at IHOP
The view at the lookout through Kolekole Pass
Wading in the tidepools
Kira says I can climb this rock

Wednesday was our catch up day around the house.

Thursday was spent at Ho'olmaluhia Botanical Gardens. We fed the ducks, posed for pictures, went down by the lake to see the fish and hiked the gardens for about an hour. The girls did well but it was hot.

We have been quite busy this past week. Dad was able to take off so we were able to spend lots of family time together. We spent memorial day at the Hale Koa. The have a nice pool and beach access which makes things easier with Kira.
Have children will travel
Out of all sand on the beach she has the most fun transfering rocks from bucket to bucket
Thats a very big pool out there :)
